(CHICAGO) Katten announced today that Cot Eversole has joined the firm’s Capital Markets practice as a partner in Chicago. Cot previously served as the Deputy General Counsel - Securities at CRH plc (NYSE: CRH), an Ireland-headquartered global building materials company and a member of the S&P 500 and Fortune Global 500. In that role, he advised the board and senior management on complex capital markets transactions, securities law matters, corporate governance issues, investor engagement, and other strategic initiatives. He also guided CRH’s transition to U.S. domestic issuer status following the move of its listing to NYSE and supported the continued development of the company’s sophisticated U.S. capital markets platform.
